A birthday present for my eldest daughter

As Sam loves a cup of tea, I thought that a tea cosy would be a great birthday present. This is a Jolly Red kit and has taken me quite a few months to complete. I still have to turn it into a cosy, of course.

We are off the The Cheap Shop, in Tiptree on Thursday where I will get some backing material, the appropriate sewing thread, some suitably coloured braid and some oven glove filler. Then I will have to hand sew it all together. I tried to machine sew it last time and it doesn't really work.
